About Heba Abdel Latief, MPH, MS, RDN, CDCES

Welcome! I’m Heba, the owner of Nutrition by Heba, a space for individuals and communities to thrive on their nutrition journeys. My work is inspired by a deep interest in food, science, and - most importantly - people. Over the years, I’ve seen how nutrition education and counseling supports quality of life, helps reverse disease, and teaches individuals how to manage their health conditions in holistic and impactful ways.

Through our sessions, we’ll celebrate successes and work together through challenges - breaking it down one step at a time. Sessions are collaborative and deeply rewarding, allowing for opportunities to problem solve and create customized solutions that fit your unique lifestyle, needs, and preferences. As a former anatomy and chemistry teacher, you’ll also receive the tools and education needed to improve your health in ways that are evidence based, sustainable, and enjoyable - and that empower you to feel more confident in your knowledge of food, your health conditions, and dietary practices.

Food should help us feel our best, while also honoring culture, joy, connection, and community. As a mother of twins, I am especially inspired by the short and long term health benefits that support both you and generations to come. In addition to nutrition counseling, I also serve patients with complex medical needs within hospital settings, teach nutrition classes in community spaces, and offer consulting services for various institutions.
